Omniwar
Here you will find all published parts of the Omniwar Symposium in German.
The Popcorn Media Collective will host film evenings starting in 2025 under the theme “Films for Reality.”
Omniwar is a term coined by political scientist David A. Hughes. Today, wars are no longer fought solely within territorial boundaries. Over the past decades, the military and scientific communities have developed new technologies that have effectively weaponized nearly every aspect of our lives.
Popcorn began with “Science Fiction” in the form of a scientific online symposium that sheds light on the latest technological advancements in warfare and societal control. The symposium took place on September 21, 2024, featuring the following speakers in order of appearance:
- David A. Hughes
- Patrick M. Wood
- Lissa Johnson
- Daniel Broudy
The event was moderated by Catherine Austin Fitts, with Logan Howse as the producer.
Popcorn has created a German translation and synchronization of the four lectures, including the discussion with attendees. All five presentations have already been screened at five film evenings and were opened for discussion.
NATO Joint Warfare Centre: The human mind will be the battlefield of tomorrow, and that means every person is a potential target. Warfare is no longer purely a military concept; it has become much broader and more complex. In the future, there will be only one rule in warfare: There are no rules.
Building on this, documentary films will follow on topics such as bio- and geoengineering, cognitive, financial, and neurobiological warfare, as well as remote control networks and how these elements are interconnected.
